The One Life Eston and Mid-Illovo sites hosted an annual medical clinic that allows many in the community to access medical care. The clinic assists individuals with HIV tests, eye tests, dental extractions, reading glasses and medication. Along with the medical clinic, the Eston site goes out to schools and helps start community gardens in the area. On the first day of harvest, we managed to sell some vegetables to the community and raised just over R1000, which will go back to the school. We have also potentially secured a more stable market at a local convenience store who said they will take as much vegetables as they can from us.

We have also been donated a computer system and dongle, which will provide the learners with access to the internet and an online learning curriculum. We are planning a second harvest and another day of planting.
